Got an interesting quote from a television show,
“Fear is an illness. If you catch it and leave it untreated it can consume you.
How do you treat it?
Witcher, Season 2, Episode 1
(I’ll be interested to learn if it was the screen writers, or a directly translated quote from the books by Andrzej Sapowski.)
Reminds me of a few things I was taught while growing up…
If we allow fear to guide our actions, and allow fear mongers to rule us, then we are not in control of making our own choices.
Be strong. Strong enough to take a few breaths, at least, before reacting to anything that stirs the pit of your stomach. It is unwise to make decisions based on fear.
Be strong enough to step in and oppose those who would incite violence.
We should act, when action is called for. Let others help you. You are not alone.
Choose carefully what you feed your mind, and be smart enough to question everything.
What do you think?
